Have been cutting out the rescue pods on this part of the hull and done some panels. Still have buttloads left :)

Paneling away.
Have some few left to make on the nacelles. Boolean the panels saved me many days of mind numbing work. Jippi :D
Panel testing
Well, it looks promising so far. Decided to try the boolean way. Made cubes and shaped them as panels and cut the panels out that way. then a quick extrude to get some height. This was just a test, so need to redo some of them.

Texture test 2

Texture test
Trying out some textures I made. I see that 1000x1000 is a bit small. The bump gets all jagged. Not sure about what color I should use either.
Easing myself into it.
Jepp. Trying to ease myself into this model again. Decided to try some nacelle work. Did some lines. I wish Ac3d could have an option to insert some loops with fixed width, but no, I have to split and move every damn vertex manually.

USS Invidia
Hell, I was hoping I was over the block with the Invidia model now that I had made some other stuff like the Flynn lightcycle and Moto, but no. Still stuck on the bloody paneling. Shit. Well, I did a render on how it looks like now.

Ringworld
Finally summer holidays. Been busy with work in the real world, but here is a new picture from me. Only thing I haven't modeled are the suit. Thats made by Shukky and downloaded from sharecg. I posed it in Dazstudio4, a free Poser wannabe, and then adjusted it in Ac3d. The buildings and the ring are modeled in Ac3d and then imported to Carrara. Its around 400 buildings in the finished render, all replicated and spread over the ring.
