Small update. This cone thingy was harder to make than I thought. Progress is very slow, cos I have to do a poopload of vertex moving and cutting and cleaning and merging.

Have gotten some more done. I almost regret I started this thing, already. Not exactly uplifting for future progress I must say :) I mostly need to move everything manually....... mostly :D

I need a break from Invidia. So I am going to have a go at making Betty from Alien Resurrection instead. I have always wanted to make it, or try to make it, but never found any good enough reference pictures. Not until some days ago, on Foundation 3d. Treybor is his nick, and making sublime models is what he do. He had a thread with orthos of the Betty. I am going to use those as a source, so here goes.

What I got isn't much at the moment, but its many tries, and a lot of vertex moving to get it looking like this. The engine have a lot of angles that needed some close attention to get right.

Textures

Well, been busy with uv mapping. Until it hit me..... why the heck am I doing this? The panels will cover almost all the hull, and most of the texture will be hidden. Bloody hell.
